Blackout Simulators / High-Power AC Sources
BeXema develops powerful three-phase AC sources with outputs of up to 2,500kVA per unit, specifically designed for precise and flexible grid simulations. Voltages, currents, frequencies, phase angles, and even complex waveforms can be freely programmed. Thanks to galvanic isolation from the supply network and short control response times of less than 2ms, the devices are particularly suited for dynamic voltage testing, such as the simulation of grid faults, blackouts, or fault ride-through (FRT) scenarios. Realistic island grid operation can also be reliably simulated. Integrated sequencers enable automated execution of customized test patterns, controlled via modern interfaces such as Ethernet, Profibus, or CAN.
With this combination of high power, precise control, and versatile configurability, BeXema’s AC sources are ideal tools for demanding test tasks in laboratories, technical centers, and series production. They meet the highest requirements of modern industrial and power electronics applications – from grid simulation and component development to final testing in production environments.
