End-of-Line Testing

Ensuring Quality – Right at the End of Production
End-of-line (EOL) testing is the final quality control step in the production process. It verifies whether each product functions correctly and meets all specified requirements. Additionally, labels, barcodes, and safety-relevant markings are checked for completeness and accuracy to ensure that only fault-free products leave the factory.

During functional testing, the product’s response to specific signals and conditions is assessed. This includes digital control signals, simulated sensor values, or defined environmental parameters. A precise test system evaluates in real time whether the product is operating correctly. The connection between the test system and the test object is made via special test adapters that ensure secure and consistent contact.

High-Voltage Test Solutions for Battery Packs
High-voltage test systems enable precise and dynamic testing of battery packs in hybrid and electric vehicles. They support continuous charging and discharging in 2-quadrant operation. Optional 4-quadrant operation is also available. Thanks to their regenerative capability, they ensure particularly energy- and cost-efficient operation.

With high control accuracy, integrated sequencer functions, and communication interfaces (e.g., CAN to the BMS), they are ideally suited for research, development, and end-of-line test benches. Users benefit from highly dynamic driving cycles, standard-compliant test procedures, and easy integration into existing test environments.

Technical Specifications
The high-voltage test systems offer the following technical specifications:

  • Voltages from 10 to 1,500V (optionally also 0V or negative voltages)
  • Currents up to ±4,000A per device, flexibly scalable through parallel operation
  • Power up to 6MW per device (expandable via parallel connection)
  • Current rise time <1ms
  • Integrated sequencer with 1ms step resolution
  • Highly dynamic and precise voltage and current control
  • Easy test bench integration via Ethernet and CAN (1kHz for hybrid integration). Additional interfaces available upon request.
